My Clients
My canine clients are from all walks of life. Some large, some small, some young, some old. Most of the time clients arrive with me by referral through personal recommendation, word of mouth, through Veterinary Surgery referral or by internet search. Often handlers are looking for someone who can help their dog with muscle problems, intermittent lameness, loss of performance, stiffness, loss of fitness and a whole range of issues which can be called ‘sports injuries’.
Anna Webb and Molly
Testimonial from Anna Webb, Barking Blonde, seen weekly on Alan Titchmarsh show and on radio in The Barking Hour, BBC London.
“Thanks to Roz Davies Molly will hopefully hit her 12th birthday running and playing like a 4-year old. Massage combined with acupuncture and some McTimoney chiropractic has certainly proved that physical therapies do work. Especially when combined with targeted homeopathy, and a naturopathic approach to healthcare that promotes the body’s self healing mechanism. Barking Blonde, Anna Webb is a natural nutritionist and is studying to be a Naturopathic consultant – for dogs and cats.”

Mary McCarthy and Poppy
Poppy had been seen for muscle therapy and was referred to me for physical rehabilitation to build Poppy back up to fitness. Like many dogs Poppy had been working around her injuries over a long period of time and she had altered her biomechanics to cope with her physical restrictions. By biomechanics I mean that she had altered her natural stance and gait, and changed how each limb supported her body. I worked with Poppy to encourage her to change how she moves so that she could fully extend and become fully weight bearing through all four limbs. Poppy did not really know that her back legs were attached to her brain at the beginning, and much of the work was to develop her ‘limb awareness’ and to rebuild her physical confidence.
“The exercises Roz suggested were clear & within Poppy’s capabilities, modelled to her requirements. Exercises were reviewed everyfew weeks and on each visit I could demonstrate how Poppy had improved considerably, showing increased flexibility/flexion and connection; her confidence in being able to easily perform the exercises increased too. The last session was most enjoyable as we could thank Roz for her tremendous help by showing how Poppy has regained her lovely bouncy fluid long stride. We have absolute confidence in Roz & her professional abilities. She is a lovely lady who took the time to assess the problems & personality of Poppy with care & understanding; her love for dogs is evident. Thank you Roz, Poppy is back to full health, looking good!”
