Redanimo Human

Everything that applies to canine massage applies to human soft tissues too!

Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy is a physical therapy applied to soft tissues. Practitioners can identify and treat musculoskeletal conditions, to rehabilitate from injury and to promote good muscle function.

Modern SRMT uses a multitude of specialist techniques to manipulate the soft tissues within the body, whether human or canine, and this includes muscle, tendon, ligaments, and fascia. Through assessment, injury, pain, dysfunction or discomfort are treated to enable ease of movement, reduce pain and enhance mobility.

I use postural assessment and range of motion assessments in order that we can make a difference to muscle tightness, pain and postural deviations as soon as possible.

SRMT treats sports men and women, golfers, tennis players, mothers, fun runners, cyclists, office workers, professional drivers, musicians, office workers, teachers, wheelchair users, in short, I can treat anyone because all of us share that common factor – our bodies’ and our soft tissue that are mechanically susceptible to injury and overload.

Everyone of any age can benefit from a targeted massage programme

  • I run one day clinics, where I have gained a following with equine sportsmen and women. Word of mouth recommendation has seen the growth of the human practice.
  • Appointments usually last around 1 hour and a programme of 3 treatments is the norm with a personalised remedial plan of stretching and mobilisation to be continued at home between sessions.

Roz started working as a locum for me in May 2016 after I was signed off on long term sick leave. She locums a corporate company offering sports massage to all their staff.

Not only is she highly professional, a good time keeper, but she has a very good manner with patients and an extensive knowledge of massage. I would highly recommend Roz to anyone looking for a Sports Therapist, whether this be individuals looking for treatment, corporate work or within a sporting industry.

I am very pleased to know the care of my patients is currently in her hands.
